[He would comment on how much food Shiemi is ordering...

...If it weren't for the fact that he is totally used to giant amounts of food being ordered and eaten thanks to Gold. It's still surprising to see Shiemi have such a huge appetite, though. Come on, does everyone around him have a shounen stomach or what?]

[Happily she digs into the food, and then smiles at Silver who is sitting across from her. Shiemi hopes that will encourage him to eat his fill as well. Skarmy ends up grabbing some food off of Shiemi's plate.]

[...Alright, alright, he's eating. Jeez, Shiemi. Just don't forget to breathe.]

[Sorry. Some people just appreciate food okay. Shiemi will take some time now to clean a bit of sauce off of Skarmy's beak before addressing Silver.]

A-ah, Silver?

[All in all, Silver is Silver, and when food is presented to him, he eats rather quickly.

...Wait Shiemi is asking him something- but he ate! Like a good Silver! See? ...Is it something else?] Yeah?

I just really wanted to thank you! For all you've done!

[-Huh? What's Shiemi getting all worked up about?]

...No problem. [Is there something he's missing?...]

No, really! I mean it! Without your help I wouldn't have been able to get this far! I really owe you.

[...Oh no, not this route-]

Just keep doing well. That's enough payment for me.

If you're sure... it really means a lot to me. To be stronger.

...To be stronger, huh? [That definitely sounds familiar to him. And with a friend like Rin, it makes sense... But he'd still like to hear her reasons in her own words instead of making assumptions.]

...Yes. When I was little I used to get sick a lot, so I wouldn't eat a lot or go outside. And big crowds always scared me. I rarely ever left my house or the garden. And then I joined the Cram School, and realized I was weak. The people I cared about got hurt, and I let myself be-

[Controlled by a demon. She swallows a gulp.] It's important that I not be a burden to my friends.

[Silver listens carefully and takes everything she says into consideration. ...But her story is missing one big thing, overlooking one important thing.]

You want to protect them. To fight by their side and not just be taken care of.

What you left out is that you're already strong.

Eh? No! No I'm not! Not yet! I'm getting there with you're help, but I'm still not...

[Remembering Gold and Silver's fight, and Rin's confrontation with Amaimon... The sheer, overwhelming power which she felt dwarfed by... No. She's not there yet.]

You're strong right here. [And this is the part where he points at her heart.] Never underestimate how important that is.

Si... Silver really thinks so?

What, no one's ever told you that before? No doubt about it, it's the truth.

[Okay that's it. Shiemi lunges across the table to throw her arms around Silver's neck in a hug. This is done so quickly, and with so much enthusiasm, that some of the plates are pushed out of the way and Skarmy flutters back some in surprise.]

[It's also so quickly and with so much enthusiasm that it has Silver fall backwards in his chair Shiemi what are you--

Well. At least he's a nice thing for Shiemi to land on.]

[Well she only meant to hug him over the table, but if he's falling backwards then she'll be pulled along with. Shiemi immediately gets off of him after they fall, red face and flailing.]

S-S-S-Si-Silver! I'm so- s-s-s-so sorry!

[For some other guy, he had what might have been the luckiest moment in the world. For him, well-]

...You're welcome. [He's okay. Give him a minute. He's okay.]

I didn't mean to- Are you okay!?

Yeah. I'm fine. [Just... Let him take a second to get up.]
