[She starts again before Sneasel gets back. It's easier because of what she's already done, but harder because Psynergy doesn't regenerate nearly as fast here as it does outside the barrier. This time it's slower; she won't be able to heal the wounds all the way, and she knew that going in, but it still feels like she's failed a bit.

They're not nearly so deep and a few of them look like they're weeks old by the time she stops again, turning a careful eye to the worst of them one last time. Then she rests one finger gently on top of Silver's shin, about halfway down.]

You'll need to be careful for a week or two. There are small cracks here, and here - [lower, but much closer to one of those teeth imprints] - that could get worse if you walk around too much.

[He could find another healer but he seems so reluctant to do that, she doubts it. Still wearing her concentration face, Mia gets the bandages that Silver's pokémon brought for her and wraps his leg back up.]

[...And just like that, it's more than halfway healed... He nods at Mia and keeps staring at the healed up wounds as she bandages them up.]

Thank you. [She really didn't have to do that. At all. But she did it while exhausted just to help him out, and... That says a lot.]

It's no trouble. [It is, a little, but she'd never say so. What she will do is take her glass of water and look pointedly at Silver's pokemon.]

He shouldn't put too much weight on it for a week or two, unless it is healed again.

[His Pokémon all nod in unison. You can count on us.

In the meantime-] Are you hungry? Do you want anything? [Yep. That's right. He's fussing.]

Hungry? [Perhaps she is, a little bit, but this is not her house and she will not impose on an injured person.] I'm all right with the water, really. Is it okay if I sit here for a little while?

[Nod. He'll uh. Put his foot back down, pick up the towel, and move over so she can sit down.] Go ahead.

[She sinks back into her spot on the couch, sipping the water and trying not to make a spectacle of herself.]

Thank you. I apologize for imposing.

[Nah. He's dismissing that one with a hand wave.]

I imposed on you a lot more than you're imposing on me.

You haven't imposed on me at all, Silver.

[The ghost of a "you're family" floats through her mind and she turns just a little pink.]

And you haven't imposed on me. [...Why is her face turning pink? She's not getting sick, is she?]

[It's called embarrassment, Silver, you should be a little familiar with it via Masaomi.]

Then let's stop arguing about it, I suppose. ...Does it hurt, still?

[Nod. See? He's even kicking his leg up- sheeee said to take it easy. Whoops. Not doing that again.]

It already feels good as new. [Which... Probably speaks volumes about how much it hurt before.]

[Considering there are still some half-inch holes in his leg, the deadpan look she's giving him is hard to misinterpret.]

Please be careful.

[-Scary.] Sorry.

[Don't apologize just listen. She doesn't want to see him with pain and a limp forever out of stubbornness and disobeying.]

[Sneasel would totally back her up on this she bets.]

Do a lot of other people live in this house with you?

[Yes. Sneasel would absolutely back her up on that one.]

...Yeah. [A dozen people and two dozen Pokémon definitely qualifies as a lot.]

Oh. Then maybe they will be able to help.

[She...feels pretty bad for scolding him, okay. That doesn't usually happen. Recently she snapped at Roxas and it's been on her mind and maybe she's turning into a less kind person, or something. Nobody wants that in a healer.]

They'll be a little too eager to help. [Stupid fussy friends-]

It is better than being alone. ...Though I think you are not ever really alone, are you?

[His black and blue creatures get a smile again. It's a feeling she's familiar with, having mental interlopers of her own.]

[That all too easily prompts a nod. He's never alone. Not with his Pokémon around...]

[-Of course, this line of conversation prompts Murkrow to come perch on Silver, Sneasel to hop in his lap, Feraligatr to get closer to his feet and carefully sit right next to him; it's dogpile and get love all over Silver time, apparently.

-Come on guys this isn't fair--]

[Well.

She's laughing really hard.

Is that what they were after?]

[Possibly. It's at least a great bonus.]

I think you're embarrassing him.

More like smothering. [NOPE DEAL WITH IT or well okay Sneasel will go hang out with Mia, there, now you're dealing with 1/3rd less smothering]
