[Has Silver been able to find his Pokédex in the item shop yet? No. What he has found, however, is definitely a nice consolation prize. He definitely didn't forget about the book Green let him borrow. How could he? Green wanted him to decipher something from his father's book about a trade evolution. His senior, his father, trade evolutions. It's pretty hard to catch his interest better than that.

So Silver settled down just outside of House 15, perfectly content to read and reread his father's book ("Secret Earth Arts"? Sure, it gets the point across, but that's a pretty boring title...,) share cherry tomatoes with his Pokémon, and continue to hold his middle finger up to socializing. Until something hits him, anyway. It was a simple thought, really. The concept of Pokémon trading was pretty obsolete without Pokémon to trade, even if it's something so vital and important to him. ...But "trading" as a whole wasn't. Exchanging currency, goods, information, services... What kind of things did people consider of enough value to be worth trading to someone, anyway?

It's a good question, it's something Silver wants to know, and at the end of the day, his curiosity wins out over loathing the idea of having to ask a bunch of strangers a broad question and hoping for interesting answers. Even if he isn't big on people, he's definitely big on information, especially on such a giant Oh well, at least he only has to write.]

So what things do you consider valuable, and what kind of things are generally considered valuable back in your worlds?

[He'll leave his journal open on his lap and start reading through his book again, occasionally looking down at the journal. Sneasel decides to watch all of this from over Silver's shoulder.

Later on in the day, Silver and Sneasel venture out into the forest in search of... well, exactly what they're looking for might be a little unclear. What is clear is that they're climbing up plenty of trees and looking for something. ...And that they're experienced in swiftly climbing up trees.]

[It waved to her! That makes her smile.] Yaay! It's so cute!

[And then she looks back at Silver.] My name is Nagisa Furukawa, by the way. What's yours?

[Wh- hey, he's not-] ...Silver.

[Sure he is. She wants to pet him. And hug him. And love him forever and ever.]

It's nice to meet you as well then, Silver! [...] Um, aside from exploring, you kind of seemed like you were looking for something before. Are you looking for anything?

...I'm looking around to see if there are any bigger bird nests. The ones I've seen are really small.

Bird nests? Why are you looking for those? If I may ask.

Sneasel's a fan of raw eggs. [Why deny it? It's the truth.]

Ohh... Can't you get those at the grocery store though?

Not fresh ones. Not ones this big. [Gesturing with his hands to convey an egg that's at least eight inches in size.]

Ohh, I thought so.. But wow! Eggs that big? Those are huge! Can you really find those kinds of eggs around here?

That's what I'm trying to find out. Here, that's considered huge. Back at home, that's a normal Pidgey egg.

I see! [Makes her wonder how big an egg considered large would be there, then. Oh jeez.] Is Pidgey another kind of Pokemon? It sounds kind of like a pigeon from my world.

[Nod!] It's a small common bird in the Kanto and Johto regions.

Ohhh. [Common too? Really is like a pigeon, huh?] Is it cute like your Sneasel, too?

Sneasel isn't cute. [He's cool! And tough! But not cute.]

Really? I think he's really cute though!

[Waving to Sneasel again like a derp.]

What about him is cute? [Sneasel won't wave back again, but he will give a big derpy smile to Nagisa this time!]

[Nagisa's completely happy with that derpy smile. And so she giggles.]

Umm.. Well.. [...] You can't really describe how he's cute! He just is! How would you define cute?

...Not something sneaky and clawed that steals and eats raw eggs. [Sneasel's just pouting at that. Can't he be cute and awesome?]

But... Foxes and lots of other animals do that too, but they're still cute!

[Look at Sneasel pouting, Silver. Clearly he is adorable.]

He's still not cute. [No! His little boy pride refuses!]

Then... what would you call him?
