STUFF SILVER'S LEARNED ABOUT LUCETI for my personal reference so I can keep a distinct line between what I know and what he does

[So Silver went on a mission that turned serious, came back to two people he cared about going home, and went home himself for about half a day, even if that half a day amounted to three years at home. To seal the deal, he returned to some great news.

Boy, it sure is great to be back.

But those aren't topics he's up for diving into, even if he could. Maybe it's a good time for a lighter topic.]

There's this show at home. Six Pokémon run five different vehicles along with their leader and combine to form a mecha called Proteam Omega. That's the show's name. They work together and fight against Demon Brioche and his grunts to stop them and keep them from getting away with their crimes.

[And it's the best show ever. Ever. Only Dia will ever understand his love.]

Wouldn't it be Does anyone have any anything like that to watch on hand? I'm not gonna get the chance to see it again for a while. [He is going to go through withdrawal- but hey, he has mission points saved up due to that mission, right? Maybe he could get some of the dvds, and-

...And maybe it was just a good time for something important ridiculous.]

[MEANWHILE, IN ACTION LAND...

It took absolutely no time at all to reacquaint himself with the woods, so that's mostly where he's been. And will be. In fact, he might as well call just call the forest his second home and be done with it. There's nothing quite like relaxing with Weavile up on a tree branch... Even if it is kind of weirdly lonely without all the other Sneasel and Weavile and other Pokémon around. How'd he get used to that?

There are only a few other fairly trivial adventures to behold like Silver brushing Feraligatr's teeth or heading over to the plaza to grab ice cream and eggs along with Weavile (since thanks to a few new housemates their supply of ice cream is running short a lot faster,) or even the rare and elusive digging through the item shop (which may or may not become more of a regular occurrence because what if something Proteam Omega related shows up?)

For someone that's got a lot on his mind, he sure isn't acting like it.]
tsuntrader: (Hmph.)
[Silver is Silver is Silver. Upon finally waking up, he immediately tries to pull himself up... And it's a bad idea. His head spins. Despite the fact that he's awake, he's still very weak, and trying to act like he's not gave him a big reminder of that. He rethinks his actions and slowly pulls himself up into a seated position.

So where is he? What time is it? How long has he been out? ...Where's his journal? That's the most important thing right now, he has to-

There it is.]

[His handwriting is downright awful, but it's legible, especially since he's slow enough about it. And he only has one thing to say.]

Is it over yet? None of you died, right?

[The you is directed at the people he knows, but he is far too drained to make that distinction or ask much else. ...Might be a good idea to let him know just how late to the party he is.

Or visit him. There's always the visiting option, although that option might not be pretty; as long as it's been, it still doesn't change the fact that he more or less looks like he's about to die, like he won't open his eyes if he closes them again. He barely even has the energy to hold himself upright.

But company would be nice, especially since he's... Not exactly going anywhere. He has his Pokémon, of course, they're all but hovering over him because he's okay and he's finally awake (jeez guys, calm down,) and he even has Chandelure in his arms (because he needs to be reassured that everything's alright and that he Did Good,) but it would be reassuring to see that everyone's, you know. Okay.

And absolutely not the other way around, because he's totally just tired.

Yep.]
tsuntrader: (Hmph.)
[It had a pretty simple beginning. ...Okay, maybe not simple. Silver needed a distraction. Badly. And Ingo was a rather comfortable and effective person to serve as a distraction. Of course, Silver wasn't consciously aware of this at the time. If he had to be asked why he would go to Ingo at his time of need of a distraction, he'd honestly say that he wasn't sure.

But there he was, spending time with Ingo. Nothing too heavy, just some casual conversation. Of course, some casual conversation with Ingo... Led to a question about a certain rumor about his face. Namely, the fact that Ingo always frowned. Was his face really stuck that way? Silver had to know. Of course, when Ingo confirmed that it was false, he needed proof. What, is it comfortable to frown like that? Yes didn't quite seem like a legitimate answer, so...

so )

Silver took on the task of finding the answer through first hand face experience.

Which left the obvious "if you can smile, why don't you?" ...But Ingo does not simply smile. Of course, there's gotta be some way to get him to smile. Which is where everyone else comes in.

So Silver heads to his journal and flicks on the video. Both he and Ingo are present.

much )

He has a harmless and innocent enough question, if a stupid one. And an awkward one.]

So what's a good way to get someone to smile?

[Feeling the need to provide context, Ingo adds his piece, albeit awkwardly.]

Silver is attempting to get me to smile, you see-- ah, it's a little unnatural... But he'd like to make the endeavor.

[Which adds on to the initial awkward, so Silver adds a little more to the table.]

It's a long story.

[Once that's sufficiently awkwardly dealt with, it's off to go find something that can make the two of them smile by walking around... Well, everywhere.

sameface )

The frowns never leave their faces. There are a lot of conversations about trains, subways, and Pokémon. Puns are included. Do you dare to take a ride on the super double frown subway? It's quite the challenge and it takes quite some time to make it to the next station.]

[SO HEY, A RIDICULOUS AND LIGHTHEARTED POST. Ingo is present! Tagging order is You--> Ingo --> Silver.]

tsuntrader: (So what?)
[Hi, my name is Silver and I am currently being assaulted by a giant bee.

No, seriously. Today, as Silver was heading home, a Beedrill cornered him ready to strike, and...

Proceeded to head over to him and nuzzle him. Relentlessly. And now it won't stop following him or getting right up in his space. Even Silver's Pokémon are weirded out by this. ...Well, except for Sneasel. For some reason, Sneasel doesn't seem all that bothered by it.

So needless to say, once Silver's had enough of manually searching for an owner (which happens pretty darn quickly,) he's opening up his journal and flipping it to video.]

Does this Beedrill- [pause, as Beedrill is currently rubbing its face on him and he needs to pry it off-] look familiar- [No, Beedrill, down, come on already-] to anyone? [Okay seriously can I have some personal space? Please? What are you so damn happy about?]
tsuntrader: (Somehow,I'm not surprised.)
[...You know, being all agitated and wound up because of the giant chain of kidnappings in house 11 is doing him no good. It's time for a change of pace. It's time for something important. Really important. So important, in fact, that he's pulling out his journal right this minute to bring it up until just waiting until he sees Gold. He would try to filter it to him, but whatever, like he cares.

So his journal is out, and for once, he's actually using his voice... Because he lost all his pencils. Whoops. Whatever, this is best said and not written anyway.]

Hey Gold, don't you think it's about time we had a battle? It's been way too long. [...No, too simple. Too friendly. Not... Challenging enough. Yeah, that's it.]

Of course, we both know that there's no way you'd beat me in a million years, so if you're not up for it, no hard feelings.

[That's much better.]
tsuntrader: (What would you know?)
[After what's felt like far too long, Gold and Silver are back. Of course, the sensible thing to do would probably be to alert someone of their return and the fact that they're okay through at least one of their journals and all that good stuff.

And Silver does open up his journal. You'd think that would be what Gold would do before Silver, wouldn't it? Well, things are a little... Mixed up at the moment. So "Silver" opens up his journal to speak his piece.]

Which way is it to the village? It's this way, right? ["Silver" points in a direction to his right.]

Yeah, go ahead and tell him all about how it's actually this way. ["Gold" points in a direction to his left.]

I'm telling you, it's this way. [Pointing!]

And I'm telling you there's no way it's not this way! [Pointing in the opposite direction!]

And what makes you so sure?!

Why wouldn't I be so sure?

[And now looking at the journal.] Tell this idiot he's wrong and that it's this way to the village. [Pointing in that direction again]

Yeah, or tell the truth and let this moron know that he couldn't find his way to the village if his life depended on it.

[And it continues on. Someone might want to fill them in on how they're both wrong and both stupid before this goes on forever. And maybe, you know, comment on how they're back.]

[ooc: SO HEY GUYS GOLD AND SILVER ARE BACK. Except, well, Gold is Silver ([personal profile] mischieftrader) and Silver is Gold ([personal profile] tsunbreeder). What could possibly go wrong? Nothing, that's what. ...And by nothing I mean everything. ALSO ALLOW ME TO REITERATE THAT THEY ARE BOTH POINTING THE WRONG WAY. And stupid. So yes. Also order is- ...Uh. You then "Silver" then "Gold". You then mischieftrader then tsunbreeder.]

tsuntrader: (...Wait,what?)
[There's nothing better to do after three days out in the cold and a chat with your best friend than to stare at your journal and idly contemplate whether or not interacting with People sounds like a good enough idea.

But something's on his mind. Or, well, a few somethings, but it's persistently sticking there enough to be worth asking.

To the journal.]

Could anyone tell me about leaders? [Well that's vague. ...Whatever.]

[...]

And while I'm here, what are elves? [...] And what's "tsun"?
tsuntrader: (Shut up.)
[Gold isn't the only one who woke up thanks to the sudden increase of volume around the village. He's quick to take a peek outside to see what's going on...

...And after that quick peek, he immediately grabs some food and more or less goes "Fuck this shit, I'm outta here." He's heading off as deep into the forest as he needs to go and staying there until things settle down and he's good and ready to handle people again.]
tsuntrader: (Oh. Hi there.)
[What's a productive use of time? Time exploring the woods and training.

Today involves the latter. ...No, really. There's perfectly valid "training" logic behind Silver running around the entire village with Sneasel and an oversized ball gun, a birthday present from some stupid flirt that needs some shounen spirit.

And the entire village is no exaggeration. He'll be zipping through lawns, tree jumping, sliding across any remaining snow and ice as if he was raised with it, pulling off ridiculous ninja bullshit stunts, the works. He'll even head into the woods at some point.

And, of course, there are those balls that keep coming out of it. Of course... They're not just balls. They're Pokéballs, which might clue people in on why Silver's doing the equivalent of playing with a new toy. They're empty Pokéballs for a good portion of the day... And they're liable to hit anyone and anything. You know, if Silver hasn't already quickly turned a corner and collided with you or narrowly avoided a collision due to good reflexes.

Of course, later on, it will also have a bird in it, so if your life long dream is to have a two foot tall bird come out of a ball and accidentally collide with you or tackle you over, now's your chance.

This is totally valid and legitimate training, guys. Really.]
tsuntrader: (Holy shit dude)
[Reentering the house later in the afternoon notified Silver of a few things: bright lights lined across their house and some weird plant in one of the doorways, and... The fact that Blue's things are gone. That happens when someone... Leaves, doesn't it?

A good portion of the rest of the afternoon is spent searching the village for her before he finally makes his way back home and pulls out his journal for a simple question. He pays a little attention to what people say and write, but not enough to have a solid enough answer.]

How can you tell whether or not someone's gone for sure?
tsuntrader: (So what?)
[Normally, Silver is pretty scarce in House 15! Once in a blue moon he might head over to his room and read or spend time with Blue or something, but otherwise, he tends to stay away in favor of doing Silver Things.

Today, that is absolutely not the case. No, today is dedicated to Silver being guilt tripped into staying home. Why? Because, as if living things he did while masked down wasn't going to be enough, a cold decided to add insult to injury, effectively removing any opportunity he might have had to avoid everyone. Instead, he's stuck in the house, remaining pretty miserable and fussy and trying to find something to do, which is completely missing the point of staying home and doing nothing while he's sick. Chills? Fever? Coughing and sneezing? Nonsense, he's totally fine. His Pokémon have taken to following him around like ducklings following their mommy and being generally cuddly and affectionate.

At some point, he'll try to look through his journals! Something will even come to mind for him to write! But ultimately, his hand isn't all that steady, and before he can write anything, he- he- a- aa- aaa--]

ACHOO!

[His hand slips, letting that sneeze get recorded, along with a random light, shaky line from his pencil. After staring at his journal for a few seconds and suppressing another sneeze, he gives up, all but slamming his journal shut and shoving it away in frustration. Being sick sucks, doesn't it?]
tsuntrader: (...Right.)
oh look action bracket stuff )

So what things do you consider valuable, and what kind of things are generally considered valuable back in your worlds?

[He'll leave his journal open on his lap and start reading through his book again, occasionally looking down at the journal. Sneasel decides to watch all of this from over Silver's shoulder.

Later on in the day, Silver and Sneasel venture out into the forest in search of... well, exactly what they're looking for might be a little unclear. What is clear is that they're climbing up plenty of trees and looking for something. ...And that they're experienced in swiftly climbing up trees.]

[He's been back in Luceti for long enough to find his Murkrow, generally remember where he is, and come up with something incredibly lengthy and eloquent to use his journal for.]

Has anyone seen any Pokémon or anyone with Pokémon?

[...That's not enough, people might not know which ones.] A Feraligatr, Sneasel, Gyarados, or Kingdra. Maybe an Ursaring. [Or what they are. But how the hell do you describe Pokémon?] A giant blue Alligator, a vaguely cat-like dark/ice type with a feather for a left ear, a giant red fish with a snakelike body that looks like a dragon, a big blue seahorse, and a bear with a circle on its chest.

[This won't ever stop being stupid. How do people live without Pokémon? ...Whatever. That's descriptive enough. ...Right?]

Sneasel
Quick thinking, observant, and intuitive, Sneasel is the Pokémon closest to Silver. He's been with him all his life; even today, Sneasel fusses over him like a big brother or even a parent. Sneasel is nearly constantly walking alongside Silver; when he's not, it's more often than not because he's taking a ride on Silver's shoulder. In battle, Sneasel hits hard and moves fast, fighting with his huge claws, sneaky tactics, and a great deal of ice. It's all about the Ice Punches, Icy Winds and Blizzards, except for when it's about Thief and Taunt.

Feraligatr
A giant intimidating blue alligator/crocodile has never looked so chill and nonthreatening. Feraligatr is incredibly relaxed and generally friendly outside of battle. Silver uses him to quickly get around in all kinds of water. Feraligatr is also one of his strongest Pokémon, with good power, speed, defenses, a bunch of water attacks, and the occasional Return, Ice Punch, or Earthquake thrown into the mix.

Murkrow
Calm and observant, honorable and loving a fight, Murkrow is a rather unique member of Silver's team. Although he's small, his attacks pack a lot of power, leaving them stronger still by how... crazy Murkrow is. He loves a good challenge and surpassing his limits. He's the embodiment of challenge accepted. He's a bit more versatile in terms of what he's capable of such as being able to paralyze foes, generate heat and flame, and even heal himself from injury, but ultimately, he's far more invested in displaying his strength by... Slamming himself into things. Silver also uses him to fly around.
