He keeps his eyes trained steadily on the ground as he walks, carefully avoiding rocks and tree roots and all sorts of things that can trip. As soon as he looks up, he knows he'll be flat on his face. Actually...that happens a lot regardless. The ground has this nasty habit of being awfully uneven...
